Home business leadership can be a very intimidating subject, especially to those who are brand new to the business.  Since becoming an entrepreneur myself over the past several years, I came to realize that one of the main concerns new people have when they get started in their business is lack of leadership skills.  For whatever reason, most people think that they must know absolutely everything before they can begin leading others and teach them the fundamentals of home business leadership.  This myth could not be farther from the truth.  If you think about it, we all have to start somewhere.  None of us get started in business knowing everything.  Honestly, you could be in business for years and still not know everything.  As I like to say to my team members, if you haven’t learned something new everyday, you’ve literally just wasted 24 hours.  Our entire life is a huge learning curve, but that’s what gives us the opportunity to continually grow whether it be personally or professionally.  As you begin your business, you will be able to utilize your past experiences as stepping stones for those who are following your lead.  You must remember, that as people get started in your business, they are learning just as you did when you got started.  Therefore, you already know what it is that they need to be learning, and it makes it much easier to position yourself as a leader.  There are several other things you can do to become the leader your business partners will look forward to following and in turn begin learning the exact leadership skills you possess.
